Writing don’t worry about trying to be original you can go crazy doing that you just need to write writing is enough and if it’s not enough then you should probably be doing something else some other things to keep in mind sending poems to publishers is not writing getting your poems published is not writing only writing is writing going to parties to celebrate your work is not writing speaking to people is not writing reading your poems in public is not writing only writing is writing stop trying to complicate it don’t try to attach significance where there isn’t any and above all ignore advice do what you feel is right just write writing is enough
