Blowback is starting to get many
submissions which is great.
Unfortunately all poets cannot be
published. Blowback is very selective.
If you are one who is not selected, do
not take offense. Believe in yourself,
editors are not dictators, even though
some may fancy themselves so. There
are lots of chances out there. Believe in
and enjoy your words and visions even if
you are the only one!
I have finally found the first poems to
publish since last November!!!!!
I only post what i feel is worthwhile
and unfortunately i haven't found

I am asking for poets to submit poems
on the subjects of the war in Iraq and
Hurricane Katrina. i believe poetry
should relfect the contemporary world
as well as be universal and timeless. So
let's see what we get! 10/8/2005
New Poems by DB Cox and Damion
Hamilton were posted on 10/8/2005
Matt Finney is a 16 year old poet who
appeared out of nowhere and delighted
me in the submissions box. The
ruminations of his mind may
be typical of his age, but there is
definitely a voice there. I only wonder
what he will write about when he's
older.
Brian Fugett, Jane Adam, and Owen
Roberts were added on 9/2/2005
Damion Hamilton and Shane Allison
were added on 8/5/2005
The blowback logo design was just
created by a very cool artist named
Antonia. Among many things she is
known for is her back wall mural at
Churchill's in the Little Haiti
neighborhood known as the CBGB of
Miami for its live music of underground
rock and jazz bands. The place was
featured in an Iggy Pop music video. She
also created the "Bite me Bitch" dog
that is very hip. T-Shirts of this dog
can be purchased by contacting
antoniakg@hotmail.com.
Also, more poets are already submitting
poems and will soon be
published on the website.
