Blowback magazine was founded May 16, 2005. The principle focus of the magazine is to advance the art of poetry in all forms.    Blowback is headquartered in Miami, Florida. As the so called "Gateway to the Americas" Miami   is a city that is flourishing in the arts and promises to one day be one of the high profile destination cities for artists to go to for inspiration and fulfillment of thier creative visions.  This magazine wants to be a part of that movement.
