Went on a hunger Strike.
Nelson Mandela
Sat in a prison defiantly
Emerging
As a giant.
John Lennon
Imagined a world
In a song.
I too have
So many dreams
Of the world
Most existing
Inside my head
That most will never
Know.
A spec in the
Universe.
An adage says that
Dreams go unfulfilled
But the dreams
Can never die.
Lennon said at the end
Of his song
That he wasn’t the
Only one.
It feels great
To escape
Into this
Truth.
